Jmar Reid - A young actor in New York City. Recent graduate of The New School, Eugene Lang; where he studied theatre and creative writing. As well as studying part time at Stella Adler. Always carrying a mindset of performing in an array of roles, but also writing roles into existence. Jmar can be found from the stage to the microphone and the camera, living his dreams that he intends to turn to reality.

Hey there, I’m Jmar Reid!
Jmar studied at The New School, Eugene Lang, where he really found his passion for acting, and decided that he would make it his career. Throughout school he was in many plays, musicals, and films of different nature.
Standing at 6’ 2” with a positive aura, and nature he stands out in a room, and prides himself on that. His uniqueness aided by his deep Bass/Baritone voice.
Has taken classes at the Stella Adler acting school, and vocal lessons with many coaches including Sue Ann Gershenzon, The Vocal Workout school, and the Matt Farnsworth studio. He also studies dance at Steps On Broadway.
Jmar loves to do things his own way, and is happy to take the road less traveled because he trusts the journey, and that the destination is bright.
Not only acting, but writing plays and stories keeps him busy and creatively fulfilled. He is currently working on a collection of short stories that he hopes to have released by the Summer of 2020.
